I have always loved horses and ponies, learning to ride at an early age and badgering my parents to let me have a pony. I was very lucky that they did and I was able to attend Pony Club rallies and events.

As a teenager I became interested in carriage driving and qualified for and competed at the National Carriage Driving Championships. Leaving home for college meant I didn't have my own ponies but I always tried to find a horse which needed a rider or a carriage driver that needed a groom.

Some years later I was inspired by a QED programme on Monty Roberts and this led me to complete the Monty Roberts Preliminary Certificate in Horsemanship

I became more and more interested in natural horsemanship and natural living for the horses.

I came to hands on healing 10 years ago with my own horse and investigated Reiki, Spiritual Healing, Reiki for Horses and Animal Communication. Although I started conventionally with horses I have come to look at life from the horses' point of view.

This has encouraged me to want to help horses and their owners gain a better understanding of what they need and want. I take an holistic view of looking after horses and believe that we need to consider the horses' mind, body and spirit in our endeavours to make their lives happy and healthy.
